The Dad is actually very correct regarding what is meant to happen in old age, the children then take care of their own parents, in their home. Western society has totally failed in this and dump their parents in nursing home and get other people to take care of their parents. It is actually the children’s responsibility, not anyone else’s and is the way to honour your parents after they sacrificed daily to raise you, shelter you and feed you as a child.
